Devkhop Lake & Sahyadri Hills, near Boisar

Devkhop Lake is widely regarded as one of the most scenic freshwater waterbodies in the region. Cradled on three sides by lush forested Sahyadri hillocks, the lake offers crystal-clear reflections and cool mountain breezes. During the monsoon season (July to September), multiple seasonal waterfalls cascade down the surrounding hills into the reservoir, attracting trekking groups, campers, and nature lovers from all across Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar. It is also an idyllic spot for lakeside photography and weekend barbecues.
